On 23 January 2006, Centre of Indian Trade Unions State Vice-President, Ms S. Punyavathi, following a week-long tour in the Agency areas of Visakhapatnam, stated that approximately 80,000 tribals would be displaced due to the bauxite mining. | ||||||||||
