In order to simplify participation in the UAS by supporting any open case, the user needs only to click the support link corresponding to the selected case, then enter her/his name, email and other basic indentifying information in the fields provided, and click the support button on the screen. That simple action then issues the sample letter (provided in the text of the case, also on line) in the name of the user. The prepared sample letters are preaddressed to all of the responsible parties cited in the urgent action appeal. Thus, if there are several duty holders or other parties addressed in the case, then those corresponding multiple letters transmit immediately the intended recipients email. This extra preparation by HLRN officers makes it so that busy people can participate in the system without having to take the extra time to cut, paste, sign and otherwise issue their own version of the sample letter.
