On Friday 28th December, 100 Jewish settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, raided Ein Canar area in Durah village, southwest of Hebron in the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said that settlers came from Beit Hagai nearby settlement.

Eyewitnesses added settlers always raid this area with the protection and support of the Israeli forces in an attempt to seize the land for settlement purposes.

In another context, settlers set mobile houses in the lands of al-Khader village, south of Bethlehem.

Coordinator of the committee to resist Apartheid Wall and settlement in al-Khader, Ahmad Salah, said that settlers placed eight mobile houses Caravans in Wadi al-Ghaweed area, west of the village, which is considered an extension of the settlement outpost ’Ein al-Qassis’ that was built on the lands of al-Khader.

Salah noted that in the past two months, the Israeli forces razed around 300 dunums in Ein al-Qassis area and built infrastructure and roads linking the two settlements Daniel and Beitar Illit, which were built on the lands of Husan, Wadi Fokin and Nahalin villages.
