January: 600 Roma evicted at Bovisa (Milan)
March: 80 evicted in Milan
April: 400 evicted in Milan
April: 36 homes destroyed at Casilino (Rome)
13 May: 800 people evicted at Ponticelli (Naples)
June: 120 Roma, including 40 children, were sent to a new camp (Rome)
9 June: Settlement of 100 people burnt down in Catania

The attacks against Roma by authorities and citizens are increasing becoming more systemic, particularly after the election of a new government in April 2008.
